Once upon a time, in a cozy little dog house, lived a beagle named Snoopy. He loved to play all day long, chasing butterflies and squirrels in his backyard. His best friend, Woodstock, a tiny yellow bird, was always there to join in the fun.
As the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the yard, Snoopy's human, Charlie Brown, called him inside for bedtime. Snoopy, though tired from a day of adventures, always wanted to play a little longer. But he knew that bedtime was important.
Inside, Charlie Brown helped Snoopy get ready for bed. He gave him a big bowl of yummy kibble for his supper, then showed him his comfy bed in the corner. Snoopy wagged his tail, excited for his cozy bed but also sad that playtime was over.
Woodstock, perched on Snoopy’s bedpost, chirped encouragingly. He had his own little nest nearby, made from soft cotton fluff that blew in from Charlie Brown's bedroom. He knew that even though it was time to sleep, there would be fun tomorrow!
Snoopy and Woodstock cuddled together, watching Charlie Brown turn off the lights. Snoopy closed his eyes, remembering all the fun he had that day. He felt grateful for his comfy bed, his delicious supper and the wonderful company of his best friend.
Before he drifted off to sleep, Snoopy thought about the next day's adventures. Maybe he would find even more fun with Woodstock by his side. He knew that having a proper night's sleep would make sure he was ready for all the excitement.
As Snoopy slept soundly, Woodstock settled down in his nest, chirping a quiet lullaby. They both knew that following bedtime routines made their adventures even better, and made their friendship stronger with every passing day. The moon shone brightly into the dog house, watching over them as they slept peacefully.
Snoopy dreamt of chasing butterflies in a field of flowers, and Woodstock dreamt of flying through the sky, both their dreams filled with happiness and friendship. And that's how Snoopy and Woodstock always ended their days, sharing sweet dreams and wonderful memories together.
