Lily loved her bright red duvet. It was soft and fluffy, like a cloud. Every night, she'd carefully tuck herself into the duvet, feeling its gentle warmth all around her.

One night, Lily was so excited to see a brand new moon, bright and shining. But she felt fidgety. She wanted to chase the moon's light, but knew she needed to rest. Her duvet felt a bit too snug.

She wriggled a bit, and pulled at the corners. Then she remembered her mama’s gentle words: 'Patience, Lily. It’s important to get ready for sleep, before the moon shines so brightly, and the stars twinkle.'

Lily sighed and slowly, carefully, smoothed down her duvet. She snuggled in tight, feeling the softness all around her. She closed her eyes and listened to the gentle breathing of her stuffed bear, Barnaby. Her fluffy, comfy duvet kept her warm and snug.

She imagined the moon peeking into her room, its soft light tracing the fluffy duvet. Slowly, Lily felt the sleepiness growing stronger, spreading through her little body. She felt so comfortable under her warm duvet.

Lily imagined fluffy clouds drifting across the sky and saw little stars dancing. She felt happy and safe, resting in her cozy duvet. Taking a deep breath, Lily drifted off to sleep, snuggled and safe.

The bright moon peeked through the window, shining on Lily’s duvet. She dreamt of lovely bunnies playing among the fluffy clouds, and soon, Lily was asleep under her cozy duvet, feeling happy and ready for the sweet, quiet sleep.

The next morning, the sun peeked through the window, and Lily woke up feeling refreshed and rested. She loved her soft duvet, and knew it would always be the perfect place for her to sleep soundly. She thanked her duvet for keeping her warm and safe.

Lily learned that it takes patience to get ready for a good night's rest, and how wonderful it feels to snuggle in and prepare for sleep. Her cozy duvet reminded her how important it was to take a deep breath and relax before sleep.
