Pip the bunny stretched, his long ears flopping. It was almost time for bed! He hopped over to his best friend, Bella the bear, who was busy arranging her tiny teddy bears in a row.
“Goodnight, Bella!” Pip chirped. Bella yawned a big, sleepy yawn. “Goodnight, Pip!” she mumbled, snuggling into her soft bed of leaves.
Next, Pip visited Carlos the caterpillar, who was carefully tucking his silky blanket around himself. “Goodnight, Carlos,” Pip whispered. Carlos gave a tiny wiggle and murmured, “Goodnight.”
Pip hopped on to see Sophie the sleepy sloth. She was already hanging upside down from a branch, her eyes nearly closed. Pip chuckled. “Goodnight, Sophie!” he said gently. Sophie blinked slowly and mumbled a sleepy “Goodnight.”
Finally, Pip hopped back to his own cozy burrow. He snuggled into his fluffy nest, feeling happy and warm. He thought about all his friends getting ready for bed, each one following their own bedtime routine.
Thinking of his friends being so kind to one another and remembering their lovely goodnights, Pip closed his eyes. He knew having his routine made bedtime special and cozy. He drifted off to sleep, dreaming of playful hops and sweet dreams.
Soon, all the little animals in the forest were asleep, dreaming their own sweet dreams. The moon shone brightly, keeping watch over them as they slept soundly through the night. The whole forest was quiet and peaceful, filled with the gentle sounds of slumber.
And just like Pip, Bella, Carlos, and Sophie, it's time for you to close your eyes and dream sweet dreams too! Goodnight, little one. Sleep tight!
