In a meadow filled with moonlight and magic, lived a little unicorn named Sparkle. Sparkle had a coat as white as fresh snow and a horn that shimmered with soft rainbow colours. As the stars began to twinkle like tiny diamonds, Sparkle felt a big, wide yawn stretch from nose to tail. It was bedtime in the magical meadow.
Sparkle loved bedtime, but finding the perfect spot to rest was sometimes a little adventure. Where would be the most cozy place tonight? Sparkle trotted along a path made of moon-moss, which glowed faintly under the silvery light. Maybe here?
Sparkle lay down on the moon-moss. It felt soft at first, but then it started to wiggle slightly, like tiny sleepy worms. It tickled! "Hmm," thought Sparkle, getting up. "Too tickly for sleepy horns and hooves."
Next, Sparkle wandered towards a patch where glow-worms gathered, making the grass sparkle like fallen stars. "Perhaps sleeping with the glow-worms will be nice and bright," Sparkle mused.
But as Sparkle lay down, the glow-worms twinkled and flashed so brightly that it was hard to close sleepy eyes. Too much sparkle for bedtime! Sparkle sighed gently and moved on.
Close by was a little waterfall that tumbled down rocks covered in soft, velvety moss. The sound of the water was like a soft whisper. "Maybe the sound of the water will lull me to sleep," Sparkle hoped.
Sparkle lay down beside the waterfall. The moss was indeed soft. But the waterfall wasn't just whispering; it was also gurgling and splashing! It was a lovely sound for playtime, but a little too noisy for drifting off to dreamland. Sparkle felt a tiny bit discouraged.
Sitting down near a sleepy flower that was closing its petals for the night, Sparkle didn't know where else to look. The meadow had so many wonderful places, but none felt just right for sleeping. A gentle night breeze, carrying the scent of sleepy flowers, rustled Sparkle's mane.
The breeze seemed to whisper, "Look up, little friend. Sometimes the perfect spot isn't on the ground at all."
Sparkle tilted their head back and looked up at the night sky. Below the twinkling stars, low enough to almost touch, floated a big, fluffy cloud. It looked incredibly soft, like a giant cotton ball made of moonlight and dreams.
A hopeful spark lit up in Sparkle's eyes. That cloud looked perfect! With a gentle push off the ground, Sparkle gave a little hop and floated softly upwards, landing lightly on the fluffy cloud.
Oh, it was exactly right! The cloud was soft and cool, like sleeping on a marshmallow but even better. It was just bouncy enough to feel like a gentle hug. Sparkle curled up right in the middle of the cloud, feeling safe and snug.
The moon above seemed to smile down like a friendly night light. The stars winked gently. The sounds of the meadow were far below, just a soft hum now. Here, on the cloud, everything felt quiet and peaceful.
Sparkle closed those sparkling eyes, feeling perfectly comfortable and calm. The gentle cloud felt like a warm, cozy bed, rocking ever so slightly in the soft night air.
Soon, the little unicorn was drifting off to sleep, dreaming sweet dreams of floating on rainbow sprinkles and sliding down moonbeams. The perfect spot was found, and it was time for a magical, peaceful sleep.
Goodnight, Sparkle. Goodnight, little one. May your dreams be as soft and sweet as a cloud.
