Leo loved bedtime, but sometimes his room felt a little…plain. One night, his grandma gave him a wonderful gift: a little theater projector! It wasn't a big, fancy one, just a small box that shone pictures onto the ceiling. Leo was so excited!
“What should we project first?” asked Leo’s mom. Leo thought very hard. He loved building with his blocks, and he *really* loved castles. “A castle!” he shouted. His mom helped him put a little slide into the projector, and *whoosh*! A beautiful castle appeared on his ceiling.
It wasn’t just *any* castle. This castle had sparkly towers, friendly flags waving in the breeze, and even little windows that seemed to glow. Leo imagined a kind king and queen lived inside, and lots of playful puppies ran around the courtyard. He pretended he was a brave knight protecting the castle!
Leo’s mom projected little stars around the castle, and then some fluffy clouds. “It’s like you’re sleeping *inside* the castle!” she whispered. Leo giggled. He was so grateful for his grandma and his new projector. It made bedtime feel like a magical adventure.
He imagined the king and queen were getting ready for bed too, tucking in their little puppy knights. He thought about all the wonderful things he could project tomorrow – maybe a jungle, or a spaceship, or even a field of colorful flowers!
As Leo snuggled under his covers, he felt peaceful and happy. The castle on his ceiling seemed to glow even brighter. He closed his eyes, and dreamed of building his own amazing castle, bigger and better than ever before. He knew, with a little imagination, any dream could come true.
“Goodnight, castle,” Leo whispered. And as he drifted off to sleep, he knew his bedtime projector would always be there to fill his dreams with wonder and joy. Sweet dreams, little one. Remember to use your imagination and be grateful for all the wonderful things around you.
