Panchatantra's Wise Tales for Bedtime

Once upon a time, in a lush green forest, lived a clever little monkey named Mika and a friendly, but sometimes foolish, deer named Deepa.

Mika loved to play hide-and-seek, and Deepa was always eager to join. But Deepa, being a bit clumsy, often couldn't find Mika very easily. One sunny morning, Mika decided to play a special game. He hid behind a large, colourful flower.

Deepa searched high and low, but couldn't find Mika. She called out his name, but only the chirping birds answered. Feeling frustrated, Deepa wandered off, missing her friend.

Mika, watching from behind the flower, noticed Deepa getting lost. He thought, 'I need to help my friend.' So, he carefully jumped down, showing himself to Deepa.

Deepa gasped with delight, 'Mika! I was so worried! How did you find me?'

Mika explained, 'I saw you were getting lost, so I had to find a way to show myself. It's important to look for friends when they're lost, just like you would need to be looked for if you were lost. We need to be there for one another.'

Deepa nodded, 'You are so smart, Mika! I should always be more careful, and you should always be there for me and others. We need to look out for each other.'

They both agreed that true friendship meant helping each other, just like Mika had done.

From that day on, Mika and Deepa continued to play together. They learned the importance of patience, and always trying their best to find each other. And as the sun set, they knew true friends were like a warm fire, making their time together even more special.

They understood that friendship wasn't just about fun games; it was about looking out for each other and helping when someone needed help. This lesson made their forest home even more delightful.

Now, close your eyes and dream of making new friends and helping others just like Mika and Deepa. Sweet dreams!
