Leo the Lion was SO excited! Tonight was the night – the first ever pajama party at his cozy cave. He’d invited all his best friends: Penelope the Penguin, Rosie the Rabbit, and Finley the Fox. Leo carefully laid out fluffy blankets and pillows, making sure there was enough room for everyone.
Soon, Penelope waddled in, wearing bright blue pajamas with little fishies on them. Rosie hopped in next, sporting pink pajamas with fluffy bunny tails. Finley arrived last, a little shy, in green pajamas with tiny leaves. “Welcome, everyone!” roared Leo happily. “I’m so glad you could come!”
They started with a game of ‘Silly Faces,’ making funny expressions at each other until they were all giggling. Then, they built a magnificent fort out of blankets and pillows. Rosie brought her favorite carrot snacks to share, and Penelope offered icy fish-shaped cookies. Finley, though quiet, carefully passed around the snacks, making sure everyone had enough.
As the night went on, they told stories. Penelope told a tale of sliding on icebergs, Rosie shared a story about a garden full of colorful flowers, and Leo described a dream where he flew among the clouds. Finley, encouraged by his friends, whispered a story about a clever fox who helped a lost bird find its way home.
But soon, yawns started to appear. Leo’s mom reminded them it was almost bedtime. “Time for pajamas, teeth brushing, and stories!” she said with a warm smile. They quickly brushed their teeth, then snuggled into the fort.
Leo’s mom read a gentle story about twinkling stars and sleepy clouds. One by one, Penelope, Rosie, and Finley began to close their eyes. Leo felt a warm, fuzzy feeling knowing his friends were happy and safe.
He remembered how Finley was shy at first, but how much fun he had sharing his story. Leo realized that being a good friend meant being kind and encouraging, even when someone was a little quiet. Sharing snacks and stories made the party even more special.
