Deep within the whispering woods lived a family of bears: Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear. Their cozy little home nestled beside a babbling brook, filled with the sweet scent of pine needles and wildflowers.
One sunny afternoon, a little girl named Goldilocks wandered through the woods. Her bright eyes spotted the cozy home nestled amongst the trees. Curiosity tugged at her heart. She knocked gently on the door, but it was not answered.
Taking a deep breath, Goldilocks cautiously pushed open the door. The house was warm and inviting. Rows of brightly coloured books filled the shelves of the living room. A small, wooden rocking horse stood in the corner. Goldilocks felt a flutter of delight.
In the dining room, she spotted three bowls of porridge. One was too hot, another too cold, and the last one was just right. Goldilocks, with a small smile, scooped up the perfect porridge and ate it slowly, savouring the flavour.
Next, she ventured into the cozy bedroom. Three chairs lined the room, each with a different size and shape. Goldilocks tested each one, finding that Papa Bear’s was too hard, Mama Bear’s too soft, and Baby Bear's just right for her to sit in. She felt very comfortable in Baby Bear's special chair.
Feeling very sleepy, Goldilocks crawled into Baby Bear's little bed. The soft bed was just the perfect size for her. She snuggled down, closed her eyes, and drifted off to sleep. Soon, the little bears came home.
Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear were surprised to find their home occupied by a little girl. They were a little worried, but not angry.
Baby Bear, seeing Goldilocks asleep in his bed, nudged her gently with his nose, trying to wake her softly. Mama Bear gently woke her, too.
Goldilocks woke with a start. She saw the bears' worried faces. Feeling very guilty, she quickly gathered her thoughts and apologized. She explained that she was lost and curious and hadn't meant to cause any trouble.
The bears, understanding and kind, smiled. They showed Goldilocks the path out of the woods, which led her to her home, and wished her a pleasant journey. Goldilocks thanked them profusely and promised to be more careful in the future.
From that day on, Goldilocks always knocked before entering someone's home and carefully considered whether her actions were kind and respectful to others. She learned that being considerate and polite was a very important part of living in harmony with the world around her.
