Once upon a time, deep in a cozy forest, lived three bears: Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear. They had a lovely little cottage, and every morning, Mama Bear made a delicious pot of porridge for breakfast. One sunny morning, the porridge was too hot to eat, so the bears decided to go for a walk in the woods while it cooled down.
Now, not far from the bears’ cottage lived a little girl named Goldilocks. Goldilocks was a curious girl, and she loved to explore. While wandering through the forest, she smelled something wonderful and followed her nose until she came to the bears’ cottage. She noticed the door was slightly open and, without thinking to knock or ask, she peeked inside.
Seeing no one home, Goldilocks stepped inside. On the table, she saw three bowls of porridge. First, she tried Papa Bear’s porridge. “Too hot!” she exclaimed. Then, she tried Mama Bear’s porridge. “Too cold!” she said with a frown. Finally, she tried Baby Bear’s porridge. “Just right!” she happily declared, and she ate it all up.
After her breakfast, Goldilocks felt a little tired. She went into the living room and saw three chairs. She sat in Papa Bear’s chair, but it was too hard. She sat in Mama Bear’s chair, but it was too soft. Then, she sat in Baby Bear’s chair, and…CRACK! The chair broke into pieces! Goldilocks felt a little bit bad, but she didn’t say anything.
Next, Goldilocks went upstairs and into the bedroom. There were three beds. She lay down on Papa Bear’s bed, but it was too hard. She lay down on Mama Bear’s bed, but it was too soft. Finally, she lay down on Baby Bear’s bed, and it was just right! She quickly fell fast asleep.
Soon, the three bears returned from their walk. “Someone’s been eating my porridge!” growled Papa Bear. “Someone’s been eating my porridge!” said Mama Bear. “Someone’s been eating my porridge…and they ate it all up!” cried Baby Bear.
They went into the living room. “Someone’s been sitting in my chair!” growled Papa Bear. “Someone’s been sitting in my chair!” said Mama Bear. “Someone’s been sitting in my chair…and they broke it!” wailed Baby Bear.
The bears went upstairs and into the bedroom. “Someone’s been sleeping in my bed!” growled Papa Bear. “Someone’s been sleeping in my bed!” said Mama Bear. “Someone’s been sleeping in my bed…and there she is!” shouted Baby Bear.
Goldilocks woke up with a start and saw the three bears standing around her. She was very frightened! She quickly jumped out of bed and ran all the way home. She felt very sorry for breaking Baby Bear’s chair and eating his porridge without asking.
From that day on, Goldilocks always remembered to ask permission before entering someone else’s home or using their things. She learned that respecting others and their belongings is very important, and she always tried to be kind and responsible. And the three bears? They fixed Baby Bear’s chair and continued to enjoy their peaceful life in the woods.
