Little Barnaby Bear was nestled under his warm quilt. His tummy was full, his teeth were brushed, and his pajamas were extra soft. He wiggled his toes, waiting for the very best part of the night. He could almost see the sparkly stars and the sleepy moon from the story. He looked at the bright pictures in the book too, tracing the shapes with his eyes. The way Papa Bear read made the pictures seem to come alive.

He leaned over and gave Barnaby a gentle hug and a kiss on his forehead. "Sweet dreams, my little cub," he whispered.
