Once upon a time, in a field full of soft green grass, lived a little lamb named Pip. Pip loved to play all day long, bouncing and leaping with his friends, Lily and Skip.
They'd race across the meadow, chasing butterflies and fluffy dandelion seeds. Pip was always so happy, but sometimes he forgot to listen to his mama lamb.
One evening, Mama Lamb said, "It's time for bed, little one. You need your sleep to grow big and strong!" But Pip wanted to keep playing. He told Lily and Skip, "Let's play just a little longer!"
Lily and Skip, who were already feeling sleepy, yawned. "We should listen to our mamas," said Lily. "Sleep makes us happy and ready for more fun tomorrow!"
Pip thought about it. He did feel a little tired. He snuggled up next to Lily and Skip, and they all listened to the gentle sounds of the night. The crickets chirped a sweet lullaby.
Mama Lamb brought them a warm drink of milk, just like she did every night. Pip felt very loved. He realized that listening to his mama and getting enough sleep helped him feel good and play even better the next day.
As the stars twinkled above, Pip, Lily, and Skip drifted off to sleep, dreaming of sunny fields and fun-filled days. They learned that being kind to themselves and getting enough sleep was the best way to start their day with lots of happy energy!
The next day, Pip played even harder because he was well-rested, and he remembered to share his favorite clover with Lily and Skip. Sharing his treats made him feel happy too. That's how Pip learned that kindness, friendship, and a good night's sleep were the best things ever!
