Little Lamb lived in a field full of bright green grass, where sunshine warmed the flowers and buzzing bees floated from one blossom to another.
Every day, Lamb would skip and play, chasing butterflies and nibbling juicy grass with his friendly, soft wool.
He loved to run and jump with his friends, a playful band of fluffy lambs. They frolicked until the sun began to dip low, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink.
But as the golden light faded, a gentle breeze whispered through the tall grass, carrying the sweet scent of wildflowers. It was time for sleep.
Mama Lamb nudged her little one gently and said, "It's time for your bedtime routine, dear Lamb." Little Lamb loved his routine. First, he had to drink some cool water from the stream.
Then, he would snuggle into his soft bed of soft grass and soft leaves, close to his mother.
"Now, close your eyes, Little Lamb," Mama Lamb whispered soothingly. "Sleep is important. It helps you grow strong and happy."
Little Lamb listened, watching the stars twinkle like diamonds scattered across the night sky. He felt peaceful and sleepy.
He snuggled deeper into his bed, feeling the warmth of his woolly coat. As he drifted off to sleep, he thought about all the fun he'd had that day. A happy sigh escaped his soft lips, and soon he was fast asleep.
The other lambs followed the same routine, lying down to sleep under the watchful eyes of the moon. Each lamb knew that sleep was very important, just like eating their yummy grass.
Little Lamb dreamt of butterflies and sunshine, and woke up refreshed and ready for a new day of fun. He remembered that sleep gave him the energy he needed to play and learn and grow.
Remembering the sweet feeling of rest before sleep, Lamb knew that sleep was very, very important.
And so, every evening, Little Lamb looked forward to his bedtime routine, knowing that it was the secret to a happy and healthy life.
