Once upon a time, high in the eucalyptus trees of Australia, lived a little koala named Kevin. Kevin loved to play all day long, climbing branches and munching on yummy leaves. But when the sun started to set, it was time for Kevin's nighttime routine.
Kevin's mama always told him, "Before bed, we brush our teeth, put on our pajamas, and read a story." Kevin loved to play, sometimes forgetting his mama's instructions. But tonight, he decided to be extra good.
First, Kevin carefully brushed his tiny teeth. He swished and swirled, making sure every little tooth was clean and sparkly. Then, he put on his soft, fuzzy pajamas—his favorite blue ones with little stars.
Next came the best part: bedtime stories! Mama Koala chose a story about a friendly wombat who loved to snuggle. Kevin listened intently, his eyes growing heavy with sleep. The story was about kindness, helping others, and sharing, and Kevin learned that even in sleep, you can think about doing nice things for others.
As Mama Koala finished the story, Kevin yawned a big, sleepy yawn. "Thank you, Mama," he whispered, feeling cozy and warm. He snuggled close to his mama, feeling safe and loved.
Mama Koala hugged Kevin tightly. "Sleep tight, little one," she murmured. "Sweet dreams are made of this." Kevin closed his eyes, feeling happy and content. He knew that tomorrow would be another day full of fun, but tonight, it was time for restful sleep.
As the moon shone brightly, Kevin drifted off to sleep, dreaming of eucalyptus leaves and friendly wombats. He knew that following his nighttime routine made him feel good and ready for all the exciting adventures that awaited him in the morning. He knew that having a good rest was important and was ready to wake up fresh and happy!
