Pip the Penguin loved ice cream more than anything! Strawberry, chocolate, even broccoli ice cream (don't knock it till you try it!). One sunny afternoon, Mama Penguin surprised Pip with a HUGE tub of his favorite: blueberry ice cream.
Pip's eyes grew wide as saucers. He scooped a mountain of ice cream onto his cone, a gigantic swirl that wobbled dangerously. He was so excited, he almost forgot to say thank you!
Just then, his little penguin friend, Penny, waddled over. Penny looked sad. 'I don't have any ice cream,' she said quietly.
Pip looked at his enormous cone, then at Penny. He remembered Mama Penguin always said sharing is caring. He took a deep breath. 'Here,' he said, offering Penny half of his delicious blueberry mountain.
Penny's face lit up! They shared the ice cream, giggling and chatting. It tasted even better shared. Pip learned that even though it was his ice cream, sharing made it much more fun!
As the sun began to set, Mama Penguin called Pip and Penny inside for bedtime. Pip, feeling happy and full (of both ice cream and happiness), brushed his teeth and put on his pajamas.
He snuggled into his cozy bed, thinking about how much fun he'd had. He felt so grateful for his yummy ice cream and his wonderful friend Penny. Saying thank you to Mama Penguin before bed was one of his favorite bedtime habits!
That night, Pip dreamt of giant blueberry ice cream sundaes, and he knew that sharing his treats and practicing good bedtime habits always made for the sweetest dreams of all.
