A Greek Myth for Sleepy Time

Deep in the sun-drenched hills of ancient Greece lived a little goat named Zephyr. He loved exploring the forest, munching on tasty leaves, and leaping over mossy rocks. But Zephyr wasn't alone. He had a best friend, a playful lamb named Lily.

One sunny morning, Zephyr and Lily stumbled upon a sparkling spring. The water was so clear it seemed to shimmer like a thousand tiny stars. But there was a problem. A little stream, narrow and swift, separated them from the spring. How would they get the cool, fresh water?

Zephyr, with his strong legs, carefully nudged a large, flat stone into the middle of the stream. It wasn't quite wide enough. Lily, seeing her friend’s frustration, cleverly wove together some soft, long grass from the bank, creating a sturdy bridge for Zephyr.

Zephyr carefully stepped onto the grass bridge, his little hooves carefully placed. He carefully stepped onto the bridge. He carefully hopped across the stream and eagerly drank his fill of the delicious water from the spring.

Lily, delighted, joined him. Together, they happily drank and then played in the cool water. They were so happy that they learned that their friendship was the best treasure of all.

Zephyr and Lily, always sharing and helping each other, were happy to have such a wonderful friend. And as the sun began to set, they went back home, their hearts full of the joy of friendship and kindness.

The next morning, when the sun shone upon the hills, the other animals saw the happy goats and lamb and admired their friendship and problem-solving skills. Everyone learned from their example, demonstrating kindness and cooperation.
