Once upon a time, in a bright green meadow, lived a little frog. He wasn't just *any* frog; he used to be a prince! A grumpy wizard had turned him into a frog, and the spell could only be broken if a kind princess shared her dinner with him and let him sleep in her bed.
Now, Princess Lily was a very kind princess. She loved playing with her golden ball and helping the little animals in the garden. One sunny afternoon, while playing near the pond, she accidentally dropped her golden ball right into the water! Oh dear!
The little frog popped his head out of the water. “I can get your ball, Princess,” he croaked. “But you must promise to share your dinner with me and let me sleep in your bed.” Princess Lily wasn’t sure. A frog in her bed? But she really wanted her ball back, so she promised.
The frog dove into the pond and quickly brought back the golden ball. Princess Lily was so happy! She ran back to the castle, but she almost forgot her promise. She started to eat her yummy dinner all by herself.
Then, she remembered the little frog. She felt a little bit sad that she almost broke her promise. So, she carefully put some of her dinner on a little leaf and took it to the pond. The frog happily gobbled it up.
Next, Princess Lily reluctantly let the little frog hop into her bedroom. It felt strange to have a frog so close! She tucked him into a soft pillow beside her bed. As soon as the frog touched the pillow…POOF!
A handsome prince stood before her! The wizard’s spell was broken! The prince smiled. “Thank you, Princess Lily,” he said. “You were kind and kept your promise, even when it was hard. That’s what broke the spell.”
Princess Lily and the prince became the best of friends. They played in the meadow, shared their dinners, and always, *always* kept their promises. They learned that being kind and keeping your word is more important than anything, and that true beauty comes from within. And they lived happily ever after!
