Timmy the teddy bear loved playing hide-and-seek. But when the sun started to set, casting long shadows across his bedroom floor, it was time for bed. Timmy knew bedtime was important, even though he sometimes wished he could play just a little longer.
His little human, Lily, helped him get ready. First, they brushed his soft, brown fur. Then, Lily put on his favorite pajamas – a tiny, blue nightshirt with little stars. Lily always sang a sweet lullaby as she tucked him into his bed.
As Lily’s gentle song faded, Timmy closed his eyes. Suddenly, he felt himself floating! He soared past the moon, which looked like a giant, creamy cheese, and danced among twinkling stars that shimmered like tiny diamonds.
He floated on fluffy clouds, soft and white like cotton candy. He saw friendly owls hooting goodnight, and sleepy bunnies curled up in their burrows. Everything was peaceful and calm.
He even saw a little shooting star zip across the night sky. He made a wish: to have lots of fun tomorrow, and to always have sweet dreams. The shooting star winked at him, as if to say, 'Your wish is granted!'
Then, just as gently as he'd started, Timmy floated back down to his bed. He snuggled into his cozy blankets, feeling happy and relaxed. He knew that getting enough sleep would give him the energy to have even more fun adventures the next day.
Lily came in to check on him, her eyes smiling. She kissed Timmy goodnight, and Timmy drifted off to sleep, dreaming of fluffy clouds and shooting stars. He knew that tomorrow would be another day filled with fun, and that tonight, he had a wonderful, magical bedtime adventure.
