Ekon the elephant was a very kind elephant. He lived in a big, lush jungle with lots of other animals. Every night, as the sun set, Ekon would get ready for bed, but he always felt a little bit sad.
You see, Ekon noticed that some of the smaller animals, like the little monkeys and the tiny field mice, had trouble finding safe and cozy places to sleep. The monkeys often shivered in the cold night air, and the mice were always worried about predators.
One night, Ekon had a wonderful idea! He decided to use his big, strong trunk to gather soft leaves and fluffy flowers. He carefully piled them into a cozy sleeping nook under the biggest baobab tree in the jungle.
He then gently announced to the little animals, "Come, everyone! I've made a safe and warm place for you all to sleep tonight." The little monkeys and mice were overjoyed! They snuggled together in the comfy nest Ekon had made.
Ekon watched over them, his big eyes twinkling in the moonlight. He felt so happy to help his friends. He knew that having a warm and safe place to sleep was really important, especially when it's cold and dark.
After making sure everyone was settled and sound asleep, Ekon finally went to his own bed. He felt sleepy and content. He dreamt of a beautiful jungle filled with happy animals, all snuggled up and safe.
The next morning, the little animals woke up warm and rested. They thanked Ekon for his kindness and generosity. Ekon smiled, feeling proud and happy that he’d helped them have a good night's sleep.
From that day on, Ekon continued to make a cozy sleeping spot for the smaller animals each night. He learned that helping others and ensuring they had a good night's rest brought him just as much joy as having a good night's sleep himself. And that’s how Ekon, the kind elephant, learned that sharing and caring can lead to the sweetest dreams of all.
