Once upon a time, in a cozy little forest, lived a playful fox named Finley. Finley loved drawing comic strips! He’d draw pictures of himself doing silly things, like hopping on one leg or trying to catch butterflies with his nose.
One sunny morning, Finley found a delicious basket of berries! He gasped. They looked so juicy and red. He wanted to eat them all himself!
Suddenly, a tiny squirrel, Pip, scurried out from behind a tree. Pip's eyes sparkled. "Wow, those look yummy!" he squeaked. Finley, still thinking about the berries all for himself, said, "These are mine!" He quickly tucked the basket behind his back, a mischievous grin on his face.
Pip looked sad. Finley, realizing Pip looked disappointed, felt a little bad. He wished he could share the delicious berries.
Finley thought hard. He drew a comic strip in his head. He imagined Pip looking happy with a juicy berry. Then he drew a smiling Finley sharing a berry with Pip.
With a new plan forming, Finley carefully opened the basket and carefully offered a berry to Pip. "Here, you can have some," he said, his voice soft.
Pip’s eyes lit up. He happily took the berry, thanking Finley. They both laughed and giggled, enjoying the tasty berries together.
Soon, a friendly bunny, Beatrice, hopped along. She loved comic books too, and joined in the fun! Finley drew a comic strip for Beatrice, showing all three of them sharing the berries.
They ate the berries, and talked about their favorite comic books. They realized how much fun it was to share and enjoy each other’s company. They laughed and played, creating new adventures in the comic strip of their day.
As the sun began to set, Finley realized that sharing made the best comic strips of all! He knew that having friends was better than having everything for himself.
Finley tucked into bed, a warm feeling in his tummy. He snuggled in, happy with all his new friends. He wished Pip and Beatrice goodnight. He knew that being kind and sharing made everyday adventures very exciting.
From that day on, Finley always remembered to share with his friends in the forest. He knew that sharing made everyone happy and made great memories, in his funny comic strips, and real life!
