Deep in a lush green forest, nestled amongst towering trees, lived a family of fluffy trolls. Poppy, a young troll with bright, sparkling eyes, loved playing hide-and-seek with her friends.
One sunny afternoon, Poppy and her friends, Barnaby and Rosie, were having a grand time playing. They hid behind big rocks, under leafy bushes, and even inside hollow logs. They giggled and chased each other, their laughter echoing through the trees.
As the sun began to set, painting the sky in beautiful hues of orange and pink, the trolls knew it was time for their bedtime. 'I'm so tired!' chirped Rosie. Barnaby yawned widely, his eyes growing heavy. Poppy felt a little bit of a mischievous twinkle in her eyes.
But Poppy hadn't hidden yet! She wanted to play one more game! 'Just one more little hide-and-seek,' she whispered, her voice barely above a breath. She carefully hid behind a giant mushroom.
Barnaby and Rosie, already feeling sleepy, nestled in their beds made of soft moss, yawning widely. 'It's bedtime,' they reminded Poppy gently, their voices soft like the rustling leaves.
Poppy, however, was having a wonderful time. She watched the stars peek out from behind the clouds, shimmering like diamonds in the velvet sky. She felt a warm glow of happiness.
Suddenly, she remembered her friends' sweet voices, their gentle reminders of bedtime. Poppy felt a rush of warmth in her heart. She was so happy and thankful to have kind friends.
Smiling, Poppy crept towards her bed, snuggling into her cozy moss bed. She felt grateful for her friends and the wonderful evening. She thought about how much she loved her friends and wished them sweet dreams.
As the moon climbed higher, casting a silvery light over the forest, Poppy drifted off to sleep, dreaming of more adventures and friendships. Barnaby and Rosie were snuggled in their beds, their eyes closed, already dreaming of a great new day.
