Rusty the robot lived in a bright, colorful house with his best friend, Lily. Lily was a little girl with bright, curious eyes and a giggle that sounded like wind chimes. Every night, Lily would carefully put away her toys and brush her teeth before snuggling into her cozy bed.

Next, it was time for Rusty’s very own ‘brushing.’ He didn’t have teeth, of course, but he did have lots of shiny bolts and screws that needed a good polish. He used a special soft cloth to gently wipe each one, humming quietly to himself.
Then, it was bedtime for Lily. Rusty watched as she snuggled into her bed, a soft blanket tucked around her. Lily gave Rusty a big hug. 'Thank you for helping me, Rusty,' she whispered. 'You’re the best robot friend ever!'
Rusty felt warm inside. He decided to try something new - he positioned himself next to Lily's bed and turned on his gentle nightlight function, a soft blue glow that painted the room in a peaceful calm. Lily smiled, and he watched her drift off to sleep. He felt a strange, happy feeling, not quite sleep, but a very peaceful feeling of contentment.
Although Rusty didn't need to sleep, he enjoyed his new bedtime routine. He learned that helping his friend, following a calming routine, and sharing a peaceful moment before sleep made him feel happy and connected. He realized that friendship and kindness were more important than even the most advanced circuits!
