Rapunzel's Long Hair and a Kind Heart | Bedtime Story

Once upon a time, high in a tall, tall tower, lived a little girl named Rapunzel. She had hair as golden as sunshine, and it was *very* long! So long, in fact, that when she leaned out the window, it touched the ground.

Rapunzel wasn't lonely, but she wished she had a friend to play with. She spent her days singing songs and taking care of the little flowers that grew near her tower. One day, a little bunny hopped by, looking very sad.

"What's wrong, little bunny?" Rapunzel called down. The bunny looked up and said, "I've lost my favorite carrot! It was a big, orange, crunchy carrot, and now I can't find it anywhere!"

Rapunzel thought for a moment. She couldn't leave the tower, but she had an idea! She carefully braided a long section of her golden hair and lowered it down to the bunny. "Hold on tight!" she called.

The bunny held onto Rapunzel’s hair, and she gently pulled him up, up, up to the tower window. Inside, Rapunzel had a basket full of yummy berries. "Here," she said, offering the bunny a bright red berry. "It's not a carrot, but it's sweet and crunchy!"

The bunny nibbled the berry and his nose twitched with happiness. "Thank you!" he said. "You are very kind!"

Rapunzel and the bunny spent the afternoon playing games and sharing berries. Rapunzel learned that even though she couldn't go *down* to play, she could still share her kindness and make a friend.

Soon, other little animals came to visit Rapunzel, drawn by her sweet songs and generous heart. She shared her berries and her stories, and the tower wasn't lonely anymore. It was filled with laughter and friendship.

Rapunzel realized that her long, golden hair wasn't the most special thing about her. It was her kind heart and her willingness to share that made her truly beautiful. And as the sun set, she knew she would have sweet dreams filled with happy friends.

And you, little one, remember that being kind and sharing with others is the most magical thing of all. Now close your eyes, and drift off to sleep.
