The sun was setting, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink. On Farmer McGregor's farm, the animals were getting sleepy.

Barnaby the bunny snuggled deep in his burrow, his nose twitching. He yawned a big bunny yawn. "Time for bed," he whispered.

Clara the cow mooed softly as she lay down in her cozy stall. She closed her eyes and dreamed of juicy green grass.

Percy the pig oinked contentedly. He had just finished a delicious dinner of apples and was ready for a good night's sleep.

Hetty the hen gathered her chicks under her warm wings. "Sleep tight, my little ones," she clucked.

Stanley the sheep counted fluffy white clouds as he drifted off to sleep. He snuggled close to his woolly friends.

Horace the horse neighed softly and lay down in his stable. He dreamt of galloping across the fields.

Fluffy the cat purred happily as she curled up in the hayloft. She watched the stars twinkle outside.

Rodney the rooster perched on his fence post. He took one last look at the farm, then tucked his head under his wing.

Farmer McGregor walked around the farm, making sure all the animals were safe and sound. He smiled. "Goodnight, everyone," he whispered.

The moon shone brightly over the quiet farm. All the animals were fast asleep, dreaming sweet dreams. Barnaby dreamt of carrots, Clara of green pastures, and Percy of apple pies.

Hetty dreamt of chasing juicy worms with her chicks. Stanley dreamt of jumping over fences, Horace of running through meadows, and Fluffy of catching mice.

Rodney the rooster dreamt of waking everyone up with a loud cock-a-doodle-doo. But that wouldn't be until morning. For now, the farm was peaceful and quiet, filled with the gentle sounds of sleeping animals.

And as the stars twinkled in the night sky, everyone on Farmer McGregor's farm slept soundly, waiting for the bright new day to come.
