Fluffy the sheep lived in a green meadow, but she loved looking up at the sky most of all. She thought clouds were the fluffiest, most wonderful things in the world! One evening, as the sun began to set, Fluffy noticed a little cloud looking sad. It was a small, grey cloud, all by itself.
“Hello!” bleated Fluffy. “Why are you so gloomy?” The little cloud wobbled. “I… I don’t have any rain to share,” it whispered. “All the other clouds are busy making showers for the flowers, but I’m just… grey.”
Fluffy thought for a moment. She remembered her mama sheep always said sharing made everyone happier. “That’s okay!” she said cheerfully. “You don’t *need* to make rain to be special. You can make shapes! Look!” Fluffy lay on her back and pointed. “That one looks like a giant bunny, and that one looks like a fluffy sheep, just like me!”
The little grey cloud tried to copy Fluffy, puffing and swirling. It wasn’t very good at making shapes at first, just wobbly blobs. But Fluffy didn’t laugh. She encouraged the cloud, saying, “Keep trying! It’s fun just to imagine!”
Soon, other clouds drifted over, curious about the little grey cloud and the happy sheep. A big, puffy cloud offered a tiny bit of its rain. “Here,” it boomed kindly. “Just a little, to help you practice.” The little grey cloud gratefully accepted, and with a little rain, it found it *could* make a small, gentle sprinkle.
But instead of making it rain on the meadow, the little cloud used the rain to make a beautiful rainbow! All the clouds cheered. They realized that even a little cloud could bring joy in its own way. The little grey cloud wasn’t sad anymore. It was glowing with happiness.
Fluffy yawned, feeling sleepy. She snuggled into the grass, watching the clouds drift by. She learned that even if you’re different, you can always find a way to share your special gifts with the world. And sometimes, all you need is a friend to help you see how wonderful you are.
As the stars began to twinkle, Fluffy closed her eyes, dreaming of fluffy sheep-shaped clouds and rainbow sprinkles. She knew that even when she was asleep, the clouds would be up there, sharing their magic with the world. Sweet dreams!
