Zoom was a little red car with big, bright headlights. Every night, after all the other cars went to their garages, Zoom would go on an adventure.
One night, Zoom zoomed past a sleepy blue bus named Barney. Barney’s tire was flat! Zoom stopped to help. "Don’t worry, Barney!" said Zoom.
Zoom used his little car jack (he always kept one in his trunk!) and helped Barney change his tire. Barney was so happy and thankful!
Then, Zoom saw a little yellow taxi named Sunny who was stuck in the mud. Sunny was trying to get to the hospital with an important package - a special teddy bear for a sick child.
Zoom knew he could help! He pushed Sunny until she was free from the mud. "Thank you, Zoom!" cried Sunny. "I'm off to deliver this special bear!"
Zoom felt happy. He zipped across the moonlit road, greeting the friendly fireflies who blinked their lights in thanks as he passed. He saw a group of sleepy toy cars parked safely near a friendly lamppost.
Zoom waved to the toy cars, and they waved back. He learned that helping his friends brought him lots of joy. Zoom continued his nightly drive, feeling grateful for all the friends he'd made along the way.
Zoom finally reached his own little garage. He parked snugly inside, dreaming of all the adventures he would have the next night, helping others and making new friends. It was the best feeling in the world to be kind and helpful, and Zoom knew that tomorrow would bring more chances to share his kindness.
As you snuggle into your bed, remember Zoom’s adventure. Being kind and helping others is like Zoom’s bright headlights – it shines a light on the good in the world, and makes everyone happy! Sweet dreams!
