Zoom Zoom the little red car lived in a big garage with lots of other cars. He loved nighttime the best, because the moon made the garage sparkle like a thousand tiny stars.
One night, Zoom Zoom heard a whimpering sound. He peeked around the corner and saw a little blue car, Beep Beep, stuck in a pile of old tires.
‘Oh dear,’ Zoom Zoom whispered. ‘I must help!’ He bravely pushed and pulled, using all his might. Slowly, but surely, he pushed Beep Beep free.
Beep Beep was so grateful! ‘Thank you, Zoom Zoom,’ he squeaked. ‘You’re the best friend a little blue car could ask for.’
‘It was nothing,’ Zoom Zoom hummed, feeling happy to have helped. They decided to play together. They zoomed around the garage, giggling as they went.
Suddenly, they heard a loud ‘clunk!’ A big green truck, Grumble Grumble, had gotten his wheel stuck in a hole. He looked very upset.
Zoom Zoom and Beep Beep knew just what to do! Using their combined strength, they carefully pushed Grumble Grumble’s wheel back onto the ground.
Grumble Grumble’s eyes lit up. ‘Wow,’ he said, surprised. ‘Thank you both so much! I thought I’d be stuck all night!’
Zoom Zoom and Beep Beep felt warm and fuzzy inside. Helping others made them feel good. They continued to play until it was time to recharge for the next day.
As the moon shone brightly, Zoom Zoom and Beep Beep parked side by side, snuggled up in their spots, dreaming of more adventures together. Helping others was the best adventure of all!
The next night, more cars needed help, and Zoom Zoom and Beep Beep were ready! They learned that being kind and helpful brings lots of happiness and new friends.
